Congratulations Gina Blazek and Amy Jacobs-McCumber! You are the lucky winners of a crocheted flower hair clip of you choice! This unexpectedly turned into a two winner giveaway, and therefore you can choose which flower hair clip you would like.
Of all the names to pick, 42 in the 1st giveaway and 41 in the 2nd, what are the odds that Aurelia would pick my best friend and my sister! But she did, and that is why I added a second winner to this Surprise Giveaway. I have the pictures to prove it, what a strange coincidence!
The crocheted flowers to choose from.
The name drawer:
She got one, and it is my sister, I can't believe it!
Can you read it, I know it is very blurry, but try to see and trust me that this was totally on the up and up!
Ok, we will pick another winner, so this is fair for all!
And the second winner is...
Amy, congrats Amy!
My current project: making 365 blankets in one year. Be sure to explore the rest of the blog as well.

Giveaway Update!
Okay, since this is my first giveaway, there is a bit of a learning curve. I would like to make a few changes, I hope you bear with me.
1. I have decided to extend the entry time by 4 hours, giving those who were in church last night, a chance to check their Facebook accounts this evening. The winner will be announced at 8 pm.
2. If you do not want a stuffed owl or flower hair bows, you can also have the option of 5$ off your purchase from my Etsy store. (The giveaway value is about 10-15$, so choosing a giveaway item is a better deal, and you could always save it for a gift)
3. Ways to enter:
A.) comment on the Giveaway Blog Post.
B.) Become a fan of Honeybunch Boutique on Facebook (if you are a fan already, like or comment on the Giveaway facebook post)
C.) Share the link to the Honeybunch Boutique Blog on Facebook.
*If you do all 3, you will be entered 3 times into the drawing!*
Good luck and have a great day!

Bumblebee Blanket
This is my first attempt at this kind of applica blanket. For a first attempt, I think it turned out pretty cute. The request was for a pink and yellow bumblebee blanket, but I couldn't find any cute flannel prints of bumblebees, so I decided to make my own! Having experience, I will do things differently for the next one.
(Clarification: Don't get me wrong, I love how this one turned out. I would do things differently to make it easier for me to sew. Each color section I cut out individually and I cut out two separate wings, for a grand total of 7 pieces each to sew on to the blanket. The next one, if I do another bumblebee, I would do 1 piece for the wings and just sew a line two define the two wings. For the body I would just cut out one big piece of the dark pink and sew the two light pink sections to that. With those changes, I would only have two pieces to actually sew to the blanket, much more simple than the way I did it!)

Paci Clips
Here are some examples of Paci Clips. There is one boy, one girl, one has a loop closure and the other has a velcro closure. They both have cute buttons for added detail.
Paci Clips can also be used as toy leashes or for clipping to blankets, so you don't have to worry about them dropping out of the stroller!
This one I made for Aurelia, she likes to chew on the buttons!

My Material
I love, love, love shopping for material. I love thinking of all the things that I could make with it. I love picking out different materials to go together. I love mixing up patterns and textures. I love finding deals in the remnants that are an extra 50% off! I just love it! Which is why I have so much of it.
I keep telling myself that I can't buy any more until I use up what I have. Okay, maybe not all of what I have, maybe half of what I have. But what if I need to get a specific type of material, or a different color or design from what I have. What if I am in the store for something else, like a new pair of scissors, since the ones I have are junk, and there are some really good sales? Then I need to buy more material, I NEED to! :)
Take a look. If you like material as much as I do, then you understand.
Here are my flannel sets:
Top: Funky girly prints in brown and subdued color tones, pinks, purples, greens, etc.
Bottom: Blue, brown, tan polkadot, stripes, puppy dogs
Top: Brown and pale turquoise, vines, dots, animal print, African animals
Bottom: multicolor robots, multicolor circles on turquoise background, blue mini plaid
Top: salamanders and sunburst circles, multicolor cirles, navy starburst on lime green background
Bottom: mixed print purples
Top: Turquoise and brown floral prints
Bottom: Rainbow colors with purple and turquoise
Top: yellow and green with jungle monkeys
Bottom: you can't see it, but it is a really cool multicolor elephant print and brown with blue vines
Top left: Mushrooms, butterflies and pink diagonal plaid
All the rest is various material that I don't have blankets planned for
Here is my fleece:
I have blankets planned for these, but you can't see the different prints, and they are not organized like the flannel is.
