Congratulations to the winner of Spots the Baby Owl, Patty Nelson!

Aurelia handed me the name slip this time after playing with the slips for about 10 minutes. She would take slips out, and then put then back in the bowl, she is still playing with the slips! Who knew that slips of paper and a bowl would be so fun?

The Winner is!!!

Congratulations goes to Sally C., you are the winner!!!

Video of Aurelia drawing a name!

This time I recorded Aurelia choosing a name, so you could see the whole process.  I tried to get her to give me a name, but she was to interested in all those little slips of paper.  The winner ended up being the first one she put in her mouth, as in previous drawings.  Sorry for the camera bouncing all over the place, I used my phone to record the video.

*The winner has ONE WEEK to claim their prize by emailing me their contact information at HoneybunchBoutique@yahoo.com.  If you do not claim your prize within a week, the item will be listed for sale on Etsy*

*If there was a clerical error in tallying all the entries, I apologize greatly.  However, this drawing is final and will not be changed*

Weekend Giveaway: Jungle Ragged Blanket - Day 2

The Giveaway item is an adorable, gender neutral, jungle themed, ragged baby blanket.  It is made with two layers of flannel material, and a little bit of super soft cuddle fleece.  I would normally list this on Etsy for $35-40.  Entry details are below.

You have all weekend to enter this giveaway.  There is a maximum of 6 entries per person, 3 entries per day.  If you missed Saturday, you will still have Monday morning, until10:45, to enter as well.  Aurelia will draw the winner and I will post the results around 11:00 Monday morning.

3 ways to enter to win:
1. comment on this blog post
2. Write on the Honeybunch Boutique wall on Facebook, (you need to post on the wall, comments or likes will not count as an entry)
3. Share a link on Facebook to this blog or the Honeybunch Boutique page on Facebook. Please try to share the links that others have shared already, this way I can keep track of who shares the links, let me know if I missed anyone!

More info about the blanket:
This blanket measures about 34x38.5 inches. It is made of two layers of flannel, with a couple squares of super soft cuddle fleece mixed in. The pattern on the back is a mirror image of the front, so no matter which side it out, it will always look great! The seams were fringed and I washed the blanket once in 7th Generation Laundry Detergent, to start ragging. This blanket is mostly cotton, so it breaths, making it nice and warm, yet not too heavy. Perfect for babies! Little ones really like the fringed and fuzzy seams.

Each blanket I make is unique, I never make the same one twice. I like to switch up my patterns, creating a blanket that will be a cute design and leave the least waste in fabric.

Contact me at HoneybunchBoutique@yahoo.com if you would like to make a custom order.

* This item was made in a smoke-free & animal-free home *

Baby Blankets for Raffle

I made these as part of an order for three ragged baby blankets, one boy, one gender neutral and one for a girl. The boy and neutral ones I made today, the baby girl one I made a while ago and had it listed in my Etsy shop, I decided to use it for this order.

These blankets will be part of a raffle to raise money for the Coulee Birth Network. It is a non profit org. connecting birth professionals and their services to women and families in Western WI, W MN and NE IA. They have Professional Labor Companions, childbirth education classes, breast feeding groups and grief support.

They are not ragged yet, but you get can pretty much see what they will look like.

Attention: Giveaway Redraw!!!

The winners of the redraw are Heidi and Janelle, I know, crazy isn't it.  I have pictures to prove it, but Aurelia picked two names and it turned out to be Janelle and Heidi.  So funny!  I will post the pictures later, I have to get going for now!

It was brought to my attention that a name was missing from the entries! I am glad I post the pictures so you all can double check and make sure it is fair for all! I missed a page and 3 entries were not put in the box, so in a few minutes I will have Aurelia redraw a winner.  She is having lunch now and it would be a little messy if we attempted it now :).

Ok, rules for the redraw.  Since there are already two winners, I don't think it would be fair to take away their win. However, all names will be put back in the box and Aurelia will draw one, hopefully just one this time. If a new name is drawn, then there will be 3 winners and we will have to have you all duke it out for who gets the elephant and who gets another prize of similar of similar value. If one of the previous winners is drawn, then nothing will change.

Check back in a bit to see what happens!

The winners of the redraw are Heidi and Janelle, I know, crazy isn't it.  I have pictures to prove it, but Aurelia picked two names and it turned out to be Janelle and Heidi.  So funny!

And the Winners Are!

And the winners are Janelle Veldkamp and Heidi Newman. Congratulations ladies! Aurelia picked two names this time and I couldn't choose between you two. I wanted to give you both something since you are both previous customers. We will figure out a second prize and who gets what.  Thanks everyone and have a great weekend!!!
